初めてのPC授業

まず、朝起きてからのことを書きます。
朝の食事は寮（ListerHall)の食堂で食べました。食堂には毎日変わる日替わりメニューやパン、 果物（フルーツポンチのようなもの）、ソフトドリンクがおいてあります。日替わりメニューと果物、飲物でだいたい6ドルちょっとです。 このくらいが一番ちょうど良いと思います。これより多いと、8ドルを越えてしまいます。
つぎに初めてのPCの授業です。
先生は自分でコンピュータ系の会社を経営している人らしく、大学から依頼されてPCについて教えているようです （というふうに英語で話していたと思います）。授業の内容はおもにWEBページの作り方です。英語で説明を受けるので、なかなか難しいです。 先生の作ったものがモニター（スクリーン）で見ることができるので、何とかなるといったところです。あと、Javascriptについても一緒に勉強する 予定のようですが、今回はほとんど出てきませんでした。日本の情報処理演習に似ていて、英語以外にも勉強ができて良いと思います。
こちらのパソコンはWindows2000
で、NUISのパソコンと似ています。ただ、日本語の入力ができないところが一番困ります。（実際、まだ Windows2000の環境を変えることはできておらず、KnoppixというLinuxベースのCDROMから起動しています）。日本語の入力ができないのですが、 日本語のページを見ることはできます。それでも文字化けを起こしたりするので、便利な環境とはいえません。
この日の昼食はEdoというお店で食べました。
このお店は日本食に一番近いお店です。メニューはテリヤキチキン、チキンアンドビーフ、 スキヤキビーフなどいろいろあります。日本の弁当箱くらいの容器に、一番下にご飯を入れて、その上にキャベツやブロッコリー （こちらの料理にはやたらとブロッコリーが入っています。）、その上にチキンやビーフといった肉がのっています。日本の米に近く、 なんとなく食べにいきたくなるおいしいお店です。
午後からは、WestEdomontonMallにいきました。
日本でいうと、専門店街がたくさんはいっているデパートのような感じです。大きさはサティの2倍か3倍あるような気がします （出口も2倍か3倍あるような気がします）。お店の種類は洋服、ホームセンター、お土産、電化製品、おもちゃ、音楽、スポーツなど、 ほとんどの種類の店があります。そして、日本のデパートや商店街と一番 違うところは小さな遊園地があることと、スケートリンクがあることです。また、このリンクでアイスホッケーの試合が行なわれることもあるそうです。カナダ で一番人気のスポーツはアイスホッケーで、強靭な肉体を使ったタックルを武器にオリンピックでメダルを狙えるほどの強さだそうです。
そのあとは夕食をとり、英語の授業の宿題をして就寝しました。
First, I write the event after get up the morning. I ate breakfast in the dining-room of a dormitory (ListerHall).
In the dining-room, There are the today's special and bread which change every day, fruit (a thing like a fruit punch), and soft drink are set. There are about 6 dollars that I chose today's special and fruits, and softdrink. I think that it is good most exactly. If we choose more food ,it is over 8 dollers.
Next, it is the lesson of PC first. Teacher work own PC company, But teacher is asked for university,and he teach PC technic.
(Maybe I heard that) The contents of a lesson are how to make a WEB page. It was given in English, it is difficult. But what the teacher made saw by the monitor (screen), So, I could do somehow. And we also study about Javascript, But we didn't study this time. I can study only English but also study Computer technic.I think it is better for me.
The personal computer here is Windows2000.So it is similar to NUIS. However, the place which cannot perform a Japanese input is
troubled most. (Actually, environment of Windows2000 cannot be changed yet. So it has started from CDROM of a Linux base
called Knoppix) . A Japanese page can be seen although a Japanese input cannot be performed. But character transformation is
still caused, it is not convenient environment.
I ate lunch in a store called Edo. This store is a store near a Japanese meal. A menu has a TERIYAKI chicken, a chicken and
beef,various sukiyaki beef, etc. Boiled rice was put into the bottom and meat such as a chicken and beef is top,and vegitable is middle. It was in the container like a Japanese lunch box. The vegitable is broccoli (broccoli is always contained in the dish here), They are similar to Japanese rice.The store is very good place.
In the afternoon,we went to WestEdomontonMall. When it says in Japan, it is touch like a department store that many specialty
store towns are contained. I felt it was twice or three times as big as Satie's in Japan. (And exit number too) As for the kind of store, clothes, a home center, a souvenir, electric appliances, a toy, music, a sport, etc. This has almost all kinds of stores. And the places most different from the department store and shopping center in Japan are there is a small amusement park and a rink.
Moreover, it is said that the game of ice hockey may be held by this link. It is said that the most popular sport in Canada is
ice hockey. It is said that Canadian hockey team can get Gold medals in the Olympic Games.Because they have tackle using tough body.
After that, I carried out homework of an English lesson and went to bed.
こちらの人々はとにかく体格がいい。
冬はかなり寒くなるため、その寒さに耐えるためでもあるらしい。体格が良く、一見恐そうな気もするけど、 私が感じる分には多くのカナダ人は友好的だと思う（どこかの店でそうでない人もいたけど）。
コンピューターの授業は英語の勉強にもなるし、コンピュータの技術の勉強にもなる。
