main event today 今日の主な出来事
今日はカナダから日本に帰る途中で、基本的にずっと飛行機の中です。カナダ研修は、長いようで短くなかったです。とても長く感じました。今思えば、カナダ 研修中はまずい料理や色々なことがあって早くカナダから出たいなどと思っていました。しかし、いざ帰るとなると不思議と名残惜しい気持ちになります。５週 間もいると、否が応でも愛着は湧いてくるものなのでしょう。そんなことを思いつつ、今アメリカのミネアポリスで３時間待ちです。とりあえず成田行きの飛行 機のゲート番号と時間を確認して、マクドナルドで昼食をとりました。米ドルがまだ10ドル残っていたので、お菓子とジュースを買いました。搭乗ゲートに行 く途中にゲームコーナーがあったので寄ってみるとパックマンがありました。懐かしくなりプレイしたのですがすぐ飽きてしまい、集合場所の搭乗ゲートまで向 かいました。ゲートに着くとまず搭乗手続きを済ませ、椅子に座り体力を温存しました。ある人は買い物に行き、ある人は座って待っています。まだ出発まで一 時間近くあります。移動しているよりも待っている時間のほうが疲れが溜まるので結構つらいものがあります。待っている間、平田先生も交えて仲間と話してい ました。そうこうしているうちに出発の時間になったので、飛行機に乗り込みました。機内には日本人が多く、添乗員にも日本人がいました。アナウンスは英語 と日本語が流れます。カナダ留学の甲斐もあり、すでに僕たちは日本語のアナウンスなど要らないほどのリスニング能力を持っていました。僕の隣の席は難波君 でした。１時間ばかし格闘ゲームの話で盛り上がりました。席を変わることになって、僕の隣には田中克也君と坂井君が座りました。夕食の前に飲み物のサービ スがあったのでサッポロ黒ラベルを飲みました。夕食はビーフとチキンが選べました。僕はチキンを頼みました。相変わらずノースウエスト航空の機内食は美味 しいです。こんなサービスをしているからこの航空会社は経営破綻したんじゃないかと思いました。食後に飲むかということになったので、ワインを頼みまし た。小さいボトルに入ったかわいいワインです。フルーティで美味しいワインです。赤ワインは坂井君が全部飲んでしまったらしく、白ワインしか残っていませ んでした。人から米ドルを借りて機内の免税店でタバコを買いました。僕は酒があまり強くないので、気持ち悪くなってきてしまいました。やばくなってトイレ に行きました。吐くかと思ったらうんこが出て、そしてなぜか気分が回復しました。トイレから出たら坂井君が水を持って待っていてくれました。少し感動しま した。夕食の６時間後に朝食が出ました。食えませんでした。その後寝ました。起きると何故か千歳空港にいました。東京方面が雷で着陸できなかったので千歳 空港に緊急着陸したようです。そこでまた1時間位機内待たされました。この時間はいつ出発できるかもわからなかったので、とても長く感じました。一応日本 には着いているので、携帯電話を持っている人は連絡を取っていました。千歳空港から成田までは1時間15分でつきました。飛行機から見える夜景はとてもき れいでした。飛行機から降りたらすぐ点呼をして、そのまま解散となりました。このときは日曜日の夜８時半頃でした。僕は兄の家に泊まる事にしていたので、 成田エクスプレス、中央線、山手線、小田急線を経由して下北沢まで行きました。スーツケースは30ｋｇ近くあるので階段の多い駅は大変でした。駅で兄と会 うと、すぐタクシーを捕まえて恵比寿まで飲みに連れて行かれました。夜2時ごろ下北沢の家に着き、ようやく就寝しました。 最後にカナダで出会った、Lin、Joe、Ryan、Devid、そして留学のメンバーに心から感謝の気持ちを送りたいと思います。Goodbye Canada!!

カナダの料理は不味いです。サトウのごはんとさんまの蒲焼を持ってきた人は天才かと思いました。コンビニに日清カップヌードルは売っていません。僕の行った中華レストランは焼きそばみたいなのばっかりで、ラーメンは無かったです。
