今日は日曜日。今日、私は金曜日に大介と潤とWEMに行こうと約束していたので出かけた。１０時ごろにWEMに集合しようと決めていたので、私は９時半ご ろバス停に行きました。しかし、バスがなかなか来ない。ようやくWEM行きのバスが来た頃には、すでに私の時計は１０時をまわっていた。到着したのは１０ 時半。待っててくれないかと淡い期待を抱きつつ、私はバス停を降りた。しかし誰もいない。あたりまえか。今日は、日差しが強い日だったから、もしかしたら 中で待っててくれてるかもしれないと思い、入口へ向かった。いない。しょうがないと思い、１１時までそこで待機することにした。１１時になっても何も起こ らなかった。バス停にいるかもしれないと思い、もう一度バス停まで戻った。しかし、彼らを見つけることは出来なかった。なので、私は一人でWEM内を探索 することにした。ところが、WEM内を歩き始めて５，６分後、大介と潤を発見した。堀内君もいた。会うことが出来て本当に嬉しかった。私が遅れたことを責 めることなく、みんな私を温かく迎えてくれた。私たちはまず、WEMの中にあるチャイナタウンへ向かった。チャイナタウンはいわゆるスーパーマーケット だった。中国、韓国、日本の食材やお惣菜が並んでいた。洗剤や皿、お椀といった生活用品もあった。なぜかメープルシロップも置いてあった。しかし、WEM 内の中のメープルシロップを売っている店よりも安かったと思う。たぶん。チャイナタウンという名のとおり、主に中国人向けの商品が多かった気がする。店員 さんも、たぶん中国人。アジア系の人たちばかりだった。店内は広く、様々な商品があった。日本のお菓子も色々あった。たとえばポテトチップス、かっぱえび せん、ベビースターなど、他にもたくさんあった。野菜も冷凍食品も豊富に揃えてあった。インスタント食品の中には、チャーハンの素や永谷園のお茶漬け、お 〜いお茶、インスタント味噌汁などあった。しかし、日本で売られているカップラーメンは見当たらなかった。肉も魚介類も豊富にあった。魚介類コーナーはか なり臭かった。また、ほんだしや午後の紅茶も見かけた。今回、日本で基本的に手に入れることが出来るものは、カナダでも購入出来ることが分かった。しか し、値段が少し張っている。特に日本の商品は高かった気がします。また、味の保証は出来ません。今日、試しに潤が日本製のお菓子を買って食べたら、味がお かしいと言っていた。その後は、WEM内をぐるぐるまわってた。本屋があったので、入ってみた。すると、日本の漫画が結構売られてた。また、漫画やアニメ 専門のような店もあり、面白かった。昼飯はマックで食べた。サイズは想像していたより小さいというか、あまり日本と変わらないという印象を受けた。味もま た、あまり変わらないと思います。しかし、ジュースに氷が入ってませんでした。その後もお土産などを買い、WEMを満喫した。４時ごろになると、みんな疲 れ果てていたので帰ることにした。バスの乗り方がまだいまいち分からない。大介に、乗るバス教えてもらって帰った。 今日の夕食は、白米、チキン、チンゲンサイのような野菜だった。とてもおいしい。私のホームステイ先は日本びいきで、箸も用意してくれる。食後は緑茶も出 してくれる。まさに、至れり尽せりだ。

iuchi, too.I was really glad to meet them.Everyone invited me without blaming the delay of me as it was warm.First of all, we went to the Chinatown that existed in WEM.The Chinatown was a so-called supermarket.There were the ingredient and daily dishes o
f China, South Korea, and Japan. There was general merchandise such as the detergent, plates, and bowls, too.Somehow, maple syrup was put.But, I think it was cheaper than the shop that sells maple syrup in WEM, Maybe. I think that there are mainly a lot
of commodities for Chinese as shown in the name of Chinatown. The clerk is maybe Chinese. They were only Asian people. The inside of a store was wide, and there were various commodities. There was variously cake of Japan, too. For instance, there were "p
otato chips", "kappa ebisenn" and "baby star", etc, a lot of the other.The vegetable and the frozen food were abundantly arranged. In the convenience food, it is "source of the chinese fried rice", "tea pickle of Nagatanien", there were also "Oi-tea" and
an instant miso soup, etc. However, I was unable to found the cup chinese noodle sold in Japan. The meat and the seafood also were abundant. The seafood corner was considerably stinky. Moreover, "Hondashi" and "the tea in the afternoon" were seen. This
time, I have understood what we can basically obtain it in Japan can be bought in Canada. However, those prices are a little high. Especially, I think that the commodity of Japan was high. And, the taste cannot be guaranteed. Today, when Jun tried buyin

ons and the animated cartoon specialties, and it was interesting. We had lunch with Mac. The size was smaller than I imagined it or I was impressed by it just like Japan too much. I thought that the taste did not change so much either. However, ice did n
ot enter the juice. We bought the souvenir etc. , and enjoyed WEM afterwards. We decided to return because everyone had been exhausted around four o'clock. I have not understood how of the bus to get on so good yet. Daisuke taught me how of the bus to ge

Today's supper was boiled rice and the chicken and a vegetable such as "chinn-genn-sai". It is very delicious. In my homestay, chopsticks are prepared because it is Japan patronage. After the meal, green tea is served. Exactly, I receive a hearty recept
