今日で、ホームステイしてから3日が経過した。自分は、HIROYA（ハイロイヤ）こと高橋浩也殿といっしょのホームステイ先になった。 ホームステイが始まったのは、21日の日曜日からだ。 自分たちのホストファミリーは、ジャン・カールという初老の婆さん（おばさんかも）ちっくな人だった。 ジャンが迎えにきた時は「おっ、当たりかな」と思ったが、ジャンの家へ行って「ハズレ」だと確信した。 彼女の家には、テレビがないのである。まぁ、見たところでそうそう内容理解なんざできないのだが、暇つぶしになったり、情報を得たりできる。また、自分 は、ホームステイは、子供がいてペットがいる家を希望したのだが、ペットはいたが子供がいない（正確には子供はいるが成人して嫁にいった。） そして、大学からかなり離れているのだ。まぁ、交通機関面では問題はないのだが。しかし、大学に行くまで大体1時間強かかるのため朝がキツイ！朝がキツ イというのは、単に”朝が早い”というだけではない！カナダの朝夜は非常に寒いのだ！真剣に「ほんとに夏か！」と考えてしまうくらいだ。気温にして大体 7〜8℃が普通でいいときは10℃を超えるといった感じ。だから、朝がキツイのである。 カナダに来るときに「きっと温かいだろう」と思っていたため、若干後悔したりするときもあった。今は、もう開き直っている状態。 そうそう、先程朝が早いといったが、自分たちのホームステイ2日目の起床時間は、朝4：40だ。その後、いろいろあって、5：20の起床に落ち着いた。 ホームステイにおいて、朝食は基本的に「勝手に食え」というタイプである。昼食と夕食は、基本的に作ってくれる。 本日（24日）の予定は、英語の授業、昼からレッド・エンジンというIT企業に訪問といった感じです。 英語の授業内容は、ショートストーリー作成・O-CANADA（カナダ国家）の練習、休憩を経たあと二クラスが合同してゲームみたいなことをした。 ショートストーリーは、ボブ（うちのクラスの先生）が書き出しを考え生徒が１文づづ考えて物語を作りあげるという事や、班を作ってモトネタを題材にス トーリーを作り上げるということをした。 O-CANADAの練習に関しては、半ばヤケクソ気味にかつ真面目に歌っています（真面目というところが重要）。 O-CANADAに関しては、最初は２種類聞かされて、みんな難しいほうの歌の方が、”聴いていて”好みだったため、なぜか難しい方を歌うことになっ た。 企業訪問に関しては、意外な感じがした。それは、IT企業というからには結構な規模の企業だと思っていたからである。しかし、訪れた先は、マンションの 一室のような所で「意外と小さいんだな」と思った。 企業の社長から、その会社の仕事などの話を聞いたのだが、話すのが速すぎて「何がなんだか」といった 感じだった。でも、作業員の仕事を見てまわったら、やっぱりみんなすごかった。一度に2ないし3台のモニターを見て仕事をしていた。 ちなみに、レッド・エンジンの室内の壁紙は赤だった。

pper are basically prepared. In today's (the 24th) schedule, even the IT enterprise named the red engine is feeling of visit in the class of English and daytime. The content of the class of English was done like the practice of the short story making and
O-CANADA (Canadian nation), the combinations of two another classes that passed the rest, and the games, etc. short story .one sentence... .... thought by the idea student Bob (teacher of our class) as for writing and was a thing of weaving up a tale an
d made up the story to the theme of SOURCE NEWS making the group.
Do Yakecso partly a little and it sings seriously for the practice of O-CANADA (Seriousness is important it).
Two kinds will be heard first for O-CANADA, and because the song of all difficult was "Listen" inclinations, difficult one be sung. I thought it was unexpected for a corporate visit. It is because of the desire that it is an enterprise of an excellent
scale because of the IT enterprise. However, in the place like one room of the apartment house, I thought visiting destination to be "Be not unexpectedly small". Speaking was too fast and feeling "Somehow what" though the story of the work of the company
etc. was heard from the president of the enterprise. However, all were after all terrible when the worker's work was seen and it turned. 2 or 3 monitors were seen at a time and it worked. By the way, the indoor wallpaper of the red engine was red.
